Roger Thomas III, widely known as WLK, is an artist that has crossed boundaries and isn't stopping anytime soon. Since his days being known as WLK the Poet, he has put out an abundance of music for his listeners to enjoy. WLK's music has a raw and uninhibited energy that is rooted in pain, triumph, and honesty.

The NVRWLKALN (pronounced: Never Walk Alone) Movement is a brand formed by WLK that would be able to identify and translate the mental health struggles that young adults may experience.

In August 2017, WLK and his family were victims of Hurricane Harvey. Instead of wallowing in his misfortune, WLK dove deeper into his music and focused on growing his brand. He began performing at open mic nights at Avant Garden, Houston's premier spot for live music, open mic nights, and other social events.
WLK and a friend that works with KSPTS Media began concocting ideas of selling out a show at Avant Garden and on Sunday, March 3, 2019, that vision came alive.
"Trifecta was about the completion of a phase in our journey creatively and mine musically as I have developed my sound," said WLK. "Three artists, all in various stages of their careers; three DJs...on the third month of the year."
Trifecta was a sold out event that featured artists: Ray Jones, SNT, and WLK. The event also showcased the turntable stylings of DJ Eli, DJ Splash, and Yisel.
